In-Home Aged Care Services Across Western Sydney
Flexa Care provides personalised in-home aged care and domestic support services across Western Sydney, South West Sydney and North West Sydney. Commonwealth Home Support Programme (CHSP)
The Commonwealth Home Support Programme provides entry-level support for older Australians aged 65 and over (or 50 and over for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people) who need some assistance at home to stay independent.CHSP services are subsidised by the Australian Government and co-contributions may apply. Home Care Packages
Home Care Packages provide a higher level of ongoing coordinated support for older Australians with more complex care needs. Packages are funded by the Australian Government.Level 1 — Basic Care NeedsApproximately $10,271 per year. Suitable for people with basic support needs requiring minimal assistance with daily tasks.Level 2 — Low-Level Care NeedsApproximately $18,063 per year. Suitable for people with low-level care needs requiring regular assistance at home.Level 3 — Intermediate Care NeedsApproximately $39,310 per year. Suitable for people with intermediate care needs requiring more intensive in-home support.Level 4 — High-Level Care NeedsApproximately $59,593 per year. Suitable for people with high-level care needs as an alternative to residential aged care.Flexa Care provides services under all four Home Care Package levels.
How to Access Aged Care Funding
Step 1 — Contact My Aged CareCall 1800 200 422 or visit myagedcare.gov.au to register and arrange an assessment.Step 2 — AssessmentAn Aged Care Assessment Team (ACAT) will assess your needs and determine your eligibility for CHSP or a Home Care Package.Step 3 — Package AssignmentIf eligible for a Home Care Package you will be assigned a package level and placed in the national priority queue.Step 4 — Choose Flexa CareOnce your package is assigned you can choose Flexa Care as your service provider. Can I choose my own aged care provider?
Yes. Once you have been assessed and assigned funding you can choose any approved provider including Flexa Care.
What is the difference between CHSP and a Home Care Package?
CHSP provides entry-level support for people with basic needs. Home Care Packages provide ongoing coordinated support for people with more complex needs across four funding levels.
Does Flexa Care provide overnight or 24-hour care?
Yes. We can arrange overnight respite and extended care support depending on your package level and care needs.
