What kinds of activities can community participation support cover?

Activities vary by participant. Common examples include going to the gym, attending community events, visiting shopping centres, accessing religious services, social outings and participating in sport or recreation programs.

Can my support worker drive me to activities?

Yes. Flexa Care support workers can transport participants to activities as part of community participation support.

Can I use community participation support for cultural or religious activities?

Absolutely. We actively encourage participation in cultural and religious community events and will match you with a support worker who understands your community where possible.

How is community participation different from transport support?
