Overnight Respite NDIS Support in Sydney
Flexa Care provides overnight respite support for NDIS participants and their families across Western Sydney. Our overnight respite service allows primary carers to take an extended break — whether for rest, travel or an emergency — while the participant receives continuous, attentive support from an experienced Flexa Care worker throughout the night.Overnight respite is funded under NDIS Core Supports — Assistance with Daily Life or Short Term Accommodation (STA). Flexa Care supports self-managed and plan-managed participants.

Overnight Respite FAQ
How far in advance do I need to book overnight respite?
We recommend at least 72 hours notice for overnight respite to ensure the right support worker is available. For urgent situations, call us immediately on 0433 880 073.
Is overnight respite charged at a higher rate?
Yes. NDIS overnight and public holiday rates apply. Your support coordinator can advise on funding.
Can overnight respite be provided regularly?
Yes. Many families use overnight respite on a regular scheduled basis — weekly or fortnightly.
What is the difference between overnight respite and Short Term Accommodation?
Overnight respite through Flexa Care is provided at the participant’s home. STA involves the participant staying at a different location. Contact your support coordinator to discuss STA options.
