Our team includes support workers from diverse cultural communities who understand the importance of language, religion, family values and cultural practices in everyday care.We support participants from South Asian communities including Indian, Pakistani, Sri Lankan, Nepali and Bangladeshi backgrounds. We support participants from Southeast Asian communities including Filipino, Vietnamese, Cambodian, Burmese and Indonesian backgrounds. We support participants from Middle Eastern and North African communities including Arabic, Lebanese, Iraqi, Afghan, Iranian, Turkish and Assyrian backgrounds. We support participants from Pacific Islander communities including Samoan, Tongan, Fijian and Maori backgrounds. We support participants from East Asian communities including Chinese and Korean backgrounds. Yes. We will do our best to match you with a support worker from your community or who speaks your language. Call 0433 880 073 to discuss.
Can I request a female support worker for personal care?
Yes. We accommodate gender preferences for personal care and other intimate support where possible.
Does Flexa Care understand cultural and religious dietary requirements?
Yes. All support workers are briefed on your cultural and dietary preferences before commencing support.
Do I need to speak English to access Flexa Care services?
No. We can arrange communication through a bilingual team member or interpreter where needed.
